Being kind to me.

As I write this I’m feeling really devoid of energy. I arrived home nearly two hours ago and as the sky was dark and thundery my lovely husband came to pick me up from the station. My house, which was looking somewhat ‘bomb site ish’ this morning when I left, due to a number of overnight guests who I left drinking coffees and preparing for a leisurely breakfast, was tidy and welcoming and soon I was being handed a large mug of fennel tea. I consider myself very lucky to be married to this great guy….and yes, I did remember [...]

Spring Rituals of Replenishment

One of my most favourite books of all time is Sarah Ban Breathnach’s “Simple Abundance”. I have mentioned it on blog posts on many occasions and it never fails, through it’s daily reading to give me food for thought, often breakthroughs and always comfort. Due to a very busy day yesterday, it’s only been today that I’ve got to read the piece for April 19th and it’s so beautiful I want to share it with you and to thank Sarah who through her wonderful book, brought it to my attention, and of course thanks toe Edward carpenter who wrote it. FREE Social Media Toolkit

When I run my workshop on blogging one of the things we discuss is ‘what actually constitutes a blog post’? Many come with the assumption that it is and should be along article. Now that might be what some advocate but for me, working with busy female businesswomen, my advice is that it can be a posting of an article but it can also be a link, a quote, some punchy tips etc. What is important is that it gives value to your readership. Today, I am in the middle of a number of creative meetings and I shall be [...]
