She has a calm logical approach to resolving problems and is experienced in dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information on a day-to-day basis. You can see how important she is to us.
Outside of Virtual Angels, her interests include, gardening, reading, travel, baking and now, of course, walking!
I am delighted to be working with Vivian on some of our wonderful offerings here. I first met Vivian when I turned to her for guidance and help when on my journey to overcome Adrenal Fatigue and burnout and I still work with her today on maximising my health and keeping me on track.
Vivian is a naturopathic physician with 4 years of comprehensive graduate training in traditional sciences along with natural therapies including herbal medicine, clinical nutrition, lifestyle counseling and homeopathy. This unique toolkit, her passion for connecting with who you are and knack for coaching helps to address what’s really going on with your body and create changes that stick.
Vivian’s philosophy regarding the simple changes that make the biggest shifts fits so well with what we do at WaringWell and I love that she too shares the honor we feel to be helping women go from feeling confused and overwhelmed by what’s going on with their health, to feeling empowered and excited. Vivian believes that creating inner harmony with our hormones and bodies is a powerful way that each of us can create outer harmony in our lives, and in the world.
She is licensed with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC) and is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine diploma from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, an accredited naturopathic college in Vancouver, Canada. Currently she lives in London UK with her husband and twin toddlers Ben & Elise.
On our ‘Stressed Out to Blissed Out’ programme participants will work with both myself and Vivian as we move through your transformation ensuring all needs are met.
Teresa and I met in early 2006 when I was training a group of wonderful women to get fit to walk a 60 km walk through London over 2 days in September and she became a team member. The walk was to raise money for Breakthrough to Breast Cancer and 16 of us trained, built a great bond and walked together in great style. After the walk, the East End Girls team evolved into a women only walking group and we have been walking at least once a month since then. Initially I led these walks but Teresa took over two years ago when I was ill.
During one of our walks, Teresa and I discovered our wish to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostella. Because of lifestyle, we were unable to do it in one fell swoop so we researched and decided to start in Le Puy en Velay in Central France and take as long as it took to reach Santiago, a distance of over 1000 miles. Our first section was undertaken in October 2008 and since that we’ve visited once a year. En route, we laugh, talk, enjoy the magnificent scenery, put the world to rights and love these days of escape that allow us to be two wonderful women together. We are now only 300 miles from our destination.
Teresa’s love of walking is equal to mine, she also speaks fluent French and Spanish and was named ‘the Queen of Stretch’ by the walking group as she always ensures that we take time to stretch, a very important part of the walking day.
In her day job, Teresa is a psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience. She has a background in teaching and training. She is very interested in film and theatre and is currently writing her first screenplay. Teresa has a grown up son and a wonderful French bulldog called Alfie.
Teresa will be walking with us on the “Discover Your Path” Walks and also many of the walks on the “Stressed Out to Blissed Out” programme.
